Project Location: Brighton, Colorado
This design-build project consisted of constructing a pump station and soil-bentonite cutoff wall (also referred to as a slurry wall). First we started out by building a diversion structure off Folton Ditch and a holding structure/pond for non-potable water. Then we constructed a 20 foot wet well and a cutoff wall around the holding structure/pond creating a tight storage cell. We also built an intake structure in the pond to take the water into the wet well of the pump station. This pump station has the capacity to pump 1000 FT of non-potable water.
