Nissen Slurry Wall Repair
Project Location: Greeley, Colorado
This was a repair to the Nissen Gravel Mining Pit Slurry Wall, due to flooding along the Cache La Poudre River. Hall-Irwin repaired the dike/levee, which was approximately 560 LF. The soil-bentonite cutoff wall (otherwise known as a slurry wall) and cap repair was approximately 1,500 LF. We also reconstructed the recharge pond berms, replaced damaged pipe, placed riprap along the washed out embankment, and repaired the Plumb Ditch.
